Question: In what year did the annual campus event Safe Trick-or-Treat begin at WashU?

Answer: C) Safe Trick-or-Treat began in 1999. Every year around Halloween, WashU students decorate their residence halls, then lead groups of kids in games, crafts and trick-or-treating, an event organized by the Campus Y.

Congrats to this week’s winner, Jessica Gray, who works in the Department of Surgery and will receive an “I Knew WashU” luggage tag!

This year’s event will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, and university community members are invited to bring their children to campus for the fun. To RSVP, call the Campus Y at 314-935-5010 by Friday, Oct. 20.
